The dangers here are obvious, yet ghost-riding continues to spread across North America. Accidents, injury, even death is being reported. Police from Stockton, California arrested 171 people and impounded 482 cars over a 4 month period. In December of 2006, a young man from Stockton died when he hit his head on a parked car while attempting a ghost-riding trick. In Saskatchewan, a man fell backward from a moving vehicle, hit his head on the pavement and eventually died in hospital. He is likely the first person in Canada to be killed while ghost-riding.
